New Works
This page contains my most recent work.  And, although I have my favorite pieces, I always get excited about my latest creation(s).  Each one stretches me into new territory of the heart, of technique, of scale.   You know the drill...click on the picture to see a bigger version.

(And if you like one, remember that you can purchase a giclee print or canvas - in whatever size you want,- or purchase the original, if it is still available.)
                                            BUDDHA MOON
                                                 36 x 36
                                           Acrylic on Canvas

Powerful in its simplicity, this painting absolutely glows at night with the right lighting.  Completing it on the Buddha's birthday (5/09/09) gave it its name.  However, I don't think it is our moon.  The mystery is that I'm not sure WHAT heavenly body it is.  There are four constellations stitched (yes, stitched!) into each corner - Orion, the Pleides, Cetus the Whale, and the Southern Cross.  Those markers, plus our own position on the earth/in space should allow someone with the knowhow to figure it out.  Are you up to the challenge?  I have posted this on my blog, so you can read what others think and add comments of your own as well.  Click here to go there.

                                           RESTLESS YEARNING
                                                 24 x 24
                                           Acrylic on Canvas

The restlessness of the deep ocean draws you in and awakens long forgotten dreams and yearnings of the soul.

Created for the mother of a friend, with love.

BLESSED UNION
                                                 24 x 36
                                           Acrylic on Canvas

I created this painting to honor and bless the wedding of my son Chris to his fabulous wife Jamie.  As you might imagine, these are two shining souls, deeply in love and truly equals.  The magic that their union creates is spectacular.

I love synchronicities and 'coincidences', and so I will share with you this great story.  The day after I completed this painting, I received a forwarded email from a woman named Aluna Joy.  She works at the sacred sites in South America and in her email she connected the recent Butterfly Man crop circle in the Netherlands to information she received in 2008 and earlier in 2009 in South America.  The Butterfly Man teaches us to find balance between the physical world and the spiritual world within our hearts.  She included a graphic of the image that she was given of this balanced energy.
Here is that image:

Isn't it remarkably similar to the 'Blessed Union' painting I completed the day before?  I don't know quite what to make of it, but I will honor and acknowledge our mutual connection to a higher consciousness.
