ENERGY AND HEALING WORK
Q - I was told that all of Earth (rocks, dirt, etc) has energy and that everything gives off different levels of energy and different kinds of energy.
A - Absolutely this is true. Everything has its own unique vibration. And everything has consciousness too. That is why so many people love their crystals (they are record keepers) and walks in the forest and time by the ocean... It begins to change how you perceive the world around you, that we are sharing the space equally with all things, that it is good to honor the trees, the land, the water, the cloud beings and thank them for all they give to us. It opens our capacity for compassion and tolerance, and leads us to a deeper understanding that we are all One. Yep, it's a mind-blower when you start to really understand and then FEEL it in your soul. :)
Q - Why and who do you have heal you?
A - Picture yourself climbing a mountain with other people. When there is a tricky part, someone in front of you turns around and lends a hand to help you over it. Once you have cleared it, you then turn around and help the person behind you.
We all are on the path to 'enlightenment', to knowing God, however you want to say it. I have had, and hopefully will continue to have, many extraordinary teachers to help me, teach me and show me my next step. They have gone further on the path than I have, and they reach back to assist folks like me. Yet they are still learning too - we all are. And so, I reach back to help and teach those that ask, like you, what I have learned and experienced.
I still have so far to go, and have my own human weaknesses to contend with. So, yes I need and desire healing as much as the next person. Over time, the type of healing that works best for me has changed (more subtle work than before) and that is a testament to the work I have done to progress on the path. But it is a two edged sword in a way. Lower vibration things, like fast food, amusement parks, noisy crowds of people, loud TV all affect me adversely much more than they used to. I can still do them, but then I pay the price later by not feeling my best. Wine falls in that category, too, but I just haven't been able to give that up yet..:) (human weakness).
Q - If we are just 'receptacles' and we don't add our own energy than if the other students at the healing circle and I were all 'even' in our experience and ability (she refers to the fact that they were all Reiki level 1) then wouldn't we heal the same way? Or is it who is feeding us the healing energy making the difference?
A - Well, first of all the energy comes from the same source (we are all One, remember), but we may have different beings on our 'team' helping. Also remember that energy is energy, and can be directed by intent... and not everyone has high intent in mind when they work with energy. (Ex. intent to exert control over someone or a situation, wish harm or retribution..sad but it happens)
That is why I always call on the Beings of Highest Light or Highest Consciousness, to make sure those who show up to help are of the highest intent and closest to God. Energy work is not a parlor trick, and the little protocols I teach about energetic hygiene and tuning in first are really important. We are all energetic beings, and we carry a lot of our emotional 'stuff' in our fields. As healers we are merging fields with those we heal. Without care, we can come away picking up their stuff....or giving them our stuff! Best to be impeccable in your work from the start - you stay clean, and you deliver clean.
Just as not everyone is a Picasso, not everyone is inclined to be a powerful healer. Everyone can paint, and everyone can heal, but not at the same level. You three have all been given your reiki 1 attunement, but one of the women had hers nearly a year ago. Remember I told you that the more you use it, the more your capacity to channel the energy grows. And each attunement opens that channel wider by a large degree, and continued use again continues the expansion. Through meditation, and other techniques I suppose, the more we can learn to still our minds and find the place of silence within. The more we can align ourselves to Divine Will in the silence, then the more Spirit can use us as healing instruments. Your term 'receptacle' is correct to a point, but implies passivity (a filling up). Running energy as a healer is a co-creative process (like the way I taught you to paint), because after we are filled up we send it on its way to the healee. Hence my use of the term 'pipeline' or 'conduit' - (energy flowing in, through and out).
